Prayers and Squares Ministry 

 Led by Rev. Dr. Marlene Oaks

Our motto is"  "It's not about the quilt; it's all about the prayers."  All members and friends are invited to join us the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from 10 to noon in Room 1.  We begin each meeting with prayer and proceed to joyfully construct the quilts.  Sometimes members take home a partially made quilt to finish or make some at home to bring.  The quilt is blessed by Pastor Rick on Sunday, and then the congregation ties the threads in double knots and says a prayer for the recipient.    Anyone is welcome to join us.   We have many jobs, cutting, piecing, inserting threads for tying and sewing to name a few.
