Join us January 15 through January 18 for the first Family camp of the New Year, and our first four-day, three-night adventure in the ongoing series of TUMC Family Camps. We will be enjoying the remote California desert at Agua Caliente County Park, another in the fine line of county campgrounds operated by the San Diego County Parks department (see map below). We have reserved 8 campsites, each of which can accomodate 1 RV and 1 tent, and each of which comes with full hookups. And, yes, finally, your less-than-prompt webmaster/cruise director has ginally gotten his act in gear long enough to update the website so you can make your resrvations online!

We will enjoy a special treat this time as both the McCulloughs and the Edmunds will be on hand to cook for us! Breakfast Sauturday morning and dinner Sunday night will be served for our culinary pleasure, and Mark will be leading an in-between adventure to the nearby mud caves for exploration and to work off the extra calories! The quaint mountain town of Julian is just a short distance above the campground, where we may enjoy our first extra-campgroundal excursion. And, finally, the campground itself features an indoor, natural hot-spring pool for those who just can't muster the energy for anything else!

If you are interested in attending, please take a few moments to fill out our on-line registration form so we can prepare for your visit. At this time, there are additional sites available for reservations, although they are somewhat removed from the area we have reserved. However, if we have a large turn-out we should still be able to accomodate everyone who wants to come. The cost for this event is $95.00 for two people for three nights of camping and food, plus $10.00 per additional person . But be sure to sign up now to guarantee that you'll have a spot!
