Well, Summer is almost over and we have some fun still to be had!
What a great year we have had.....
In December, we got to be Super Heroes at Magic Mountain.
In April,we went caving in Borrego Springs as our 2010 Youth Retreat. Youth and their familes had a great weekend exploring trust and the Mud Caves! Such a great weekend of bonding, caving and working together to build our community!
Of Course, this summer Senior High went to Fort Hall, Idaho for our annual SSP Experience. We have scheduled our Ice Cream Social for Sunday, September 12th at 6pm at the Church.
To finish off our year, we will be having a Movie Night with "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" on August 1st at 5:30pm, bring $3 for pizza and something to share. On August 8th, we will be having a Potluck and Parent Meeting, dessert and drinks provided, A-M, please bring a main dish or appetizer, N-Z, pelase bring a side dish or salad. We will be meeting at 6pm to eat, then we will send the youth to the youth room and have our parent meeting to discuss the upcoming year, including retreats and SSP 2011. On August 15th, we will be back to regular YG, Middle School from 5pm-7pm, High School from 6pm-8pm.
We are still working on a good date for Raging Waters! Stay Tuned!
