  Darcy Thielemann will lead a review of Demon Copperhead, by Pulitzer Prize winner Barbara Kingsolver, during our annual potluck held at 6 p.m. at the home of Ethel Takeguchi. This begins our new season of books for 2024/25. Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield inspires this novel of institutional poverty and its damage to children. It speaks for a new generation of lost boys, and all those born into beautiful, cursed places they can’t imagine leaving behind. See Ethel Takeguchi or Sue Bradshaw for more information about our book group. We greatly enjoy reading, discussing, and socializing with others who share our interest and love of books. Zoom access is available. Come join us.
